Across an ocean of time comes a similar entry. Late August:  Jack Kirby.  Early October:  Jack Kirby. Both were done in the same week but the internet publishings seperated these brotherly companions.  This is a cover of one the 2001 comics Marvel used to put out, that got put up on the Covered blog.

 Jason Garrattley over at KIRBY VISION  put out a call for portraits of Jack for this, what would be his 92nd birthday.   My submission:
